@ABA_League: Semi-final pairs decided by @BCFMP (@PartizanBC, #ABALiga)

In the ABA League last 22nd round, FMP won 73 – 72 against Partizan at home court and decided about the semi-final couples: Crvena Zvezda against Partizan and Cedevita against Budućnost. For the host, the game didn’t have any competitive motive but the tension between the opponents was highly visible and, as a result, Đorđe Gagić and Aleksandar Bursać were Disqualified after only 18 minutes of the game. Those players had a conflict and the referees decided that the game should continue without any of them. And even though Bursać spent only 11:01 minutes on the court, he was the MVP of the match, at least by looking at the stats. The FMP player scored 11 points and he only missed one three pointer (scored 1 from 2 attempts for three). His index rating was 16. But, the hero of the match was, definitely, Duop Reath who ended the game

In the ABA League round 22, the last round of its regular season, FMP is hosting Partizan. It is already known that Crvena Zvezda, Cedevita, Budućnost and Partizan will be in the semi-finals and it is also known that The Red-Whites and the team from Zagreb will have the home court advantage. Before the last round, Zvezda already secured the first place and yesterday the Croatian squad won 94 – 80 against Mornar and stayed at the second place. As I have mentioned before, the team from Belgrade is already among the best four teams of the regional league. And the team from Železnik (Belgrade suborn) will be in the league next season. All four teams from Serbia (Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Mega and FMP) will stay in the ABA League next season. So, the only goal in this game for The Black-Whites is the chance to qualify for the semi-finals

Crvena Zvezda won 97 – 88 in the third and final game against FMP for the fourth trophy in a raw of the Serbian Super League. Alen Omić was the MVP and the best scorer of the final. This was the third trophy that the Red and Whites were defending from the last season (first two were the “Radivoje Korać” Cup and the ABA League), and at the third time the charm is for Zvezda. As it was the case last season, Zvezda won 3 – 0 against the team from Železnik, but maybe the only difference was that this year FMP played much better, and they were very motivated but didn’t have the strength to finish the games as they started. This season the total difference was plus 16 for the Red and Whites, and last, plus 73. The MVP and the best scorer of the final playoff, Alen

In the second game of the Serbian Super league Final, Crvena Zvezda won 62 – 68 against FMP and now they will have a first match point for their first trophy of this season. Last year champion won in Železnik mostly because FMP didn’t guard the ball very well and due to an excellent game of James Feldeine. The home team had 19 turnovers and bad long distance shots percentage, so the guests used the situation and now they are leading 2 – 0 before the third, maybe final, game in this domestic league season. The Red and Whites weren’t playing well either, they lost 14 balls but due to they won no one will remember the bad play. The best on the court was Feldeine who scored 24 points, while his teammate Alen Omić had 15. In FMP, Dragan Apić was the best scorer with 14 points. Nemanja Nenadić

Crvena Zvezda won 84 – 83 against FMP in the first game of the Serbian Super League Final, all thanks to James Feldeine’s three-points shot 12 seconds before the end of the game. The American guard made the three-pointer and set the final result in the first game of the Final playoff against the team from Železnik. The guests had the chance to win the game, because they had the last possession, but Stefan Pot, from FMP, missed the opportunity and Zvezda celebrated in front of their own crowd. Nemanja Nenadić started the game extremely motivated and very soon the guard from FMP had double digits score. His shots helped his team to have the lead. On the other hand, Zvezda managed to stay in the game in spite of the poor performance from the distance. So, in the first quarter, it was an equal game. The second one, on

FMP won in the third semi-final game against Borac and now will face Crvena Zvezda in the Final of the Serbian Super League. The match between the team from Železnik and the team from Čačak finished with a score of 77 – 56. Both teams started well the third game but, at the end, the team from Železnik managed to win, all thanks to the great game showed by Michael Ojo. Borac didn’t have any way to stop the Nigerian-American player from FMP. The home team was only leading by 3 after the first half, but in the second part of the game the guests only scored 15 points so all their hopes were left behind. Unstoppable Ojo was the best scorer with 22 points (and 8 rebounds), while his teammate, Stefan Pot, had 14 points (and 11 jumps). In Borac, only two players had 10 points each one: Ilija

Borac, from Čačak, managed to win 64 – 59 against FMP Železnik in the second semi-final game of the Serbian Super League. The second finalist will be known after the third game and that team will face Crvena Zvezda. The guests, from Železnik, played better in the first half, but the second one belonged to the home team. Borac managed to return after FMP was leading by 17, and not just make the game more interesting but also win and celebrate with their fans. And the sports hall in Čačak was crowded, there were no empty seats left. Both teams had miserable shooting percentages (FMP: 39% for 2, 24% for 3 and 50% from the free throw line; Borac: 43% for 2, 29% for 3 and 48% from the free throw line) due to the good defense in the game. But no one will remember the scoring percentages, only the

In the second semi-final game of the Sebian Super liga, FMP won 71 – 69 against Borac from Čačak, and now has a first match point. The next game will be played in Čačak and Borac will have a 6th player because their Sports Hall will be full of supporters, especially because this semi-final is the best result in the new history of the club. In Železnik, basketball fans was able to see an interesting match because both teams played well. FMP started more focused than their opponent and in one moment they were leading by 15, but the guests didn’t allowed the opponent to celebrate early. Borac got back in the game and even had a shot for the victory but Ilija Đoković missed the three-pointer and the host team took the first victory. The best player on the court was Nemanja Nenadić with 22 points, 9 rebounds and

BC Borac from Čačak won in the third last game against Dynamic in the quarter-finals of the Serbian Super League and announced the semi-finals games against FMP. The final score was 85 – 77. It is not a small thing to be in the company of the three best teams in Serbia, especially when those three are playing in the ABA League, and the team from Čačak played and will play in the ABA 2 League. This semi-final is a great prize for all Borac did during this season, they were in the four best teams in the ABA 2 League and during this Super liga, Jovica Arsić’s squad managed to win against Crvena Zvezda and two times against Mega Bemax, the team that is also a member of the first regional league. The team from Dorćol (part of the old Belgrade) started better in front of the crowd from
