Crvena Zvezda won 84 – 83 against FMP in the first game of the Serbian Super League Final, all thanks to James Feldeine’s three-points shot 12 seconds before the end of the game.

The American guard made the three-pointer and set the final result in the first game of the Final playoff against the team from Železnik. The guests had the chance to win the game, because they had the last possession, but Stefan Pot, from FMP, missed the opportunity and Zvezda celebrated in front of their own crowd.

Nemanja Nenadić started the game extremely motivated and very soon the guard from FMP had double digits score. His shots helped his team to have the lead. On the other hand, Zvezda managed to stay in the game in spite of the poor performance from the distance. So, in the first quarter, it was an equal game.

The second one, on the other hand, was hard to watch. Both teams missed lots of open shots and in that quarter the players from both teams made a lot of faults. This affected to the score in the second quarter (14 – 11 for Zvezda).

After the first half, the home team was leading by 2 (38 – 36), but in the third quarter the guests took total control of the game. But still, both teams had a poor performance during the third period of the game. The final score before the last quarter was 56 – 61 for FMP.

The last quarter was a little bit more interesting, because the home team started to make three-points shots. The guests managed to stay in the game and in the final minutes of the game they were also leading by 7. But then, Alen Omić woke up and helped his team to get back in the game before Taylor Rochestie made 2 three-pointers and gave the audience in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall the chance to see a dramatic ending. He also assisted Feldeine for the winning shot.

The best scorer in the winning team was Omić with 22 points, while Rochestie score one point less but also had 12 assists. The last player with double-digits score in Zvezda was the hero Feldeine. He finished the match with 12 points.

An excellent Nenadić had 19 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds for FMP. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for his team to celebrate against the Red and Whites. Marko Jeremić scored 18, while Pot finished the game with 12 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds. Michael Ojo added 11 points and 8 rebounds while Marko Radovanović scored 10.
