The Black and White squad lost in the first test game before the start of the season against a German team, Oldenburg, after the overtime (OT), with a score of 93 – 95. In the first quarter, Partizan managed to have double-digits lead fast (25 – 12, +13), but before the 15 minutes break, the guests from Germany were only three points behind (45 – 42, -3). And in the second half both teams had mini-series till the last 60 seconds of the game when the score was 80 – 80. Crvena Zvezda won 97 – 88 in the third and final game against FMP for the fourth trophy in a raw of the Serbian Super League. Alen Omić was the MVP and the best scorer of the final. This was the third trophy that the Red and Whites were defending from the last season (first two were the “Radivoje Korać” Cup and the ABA League), and at the third time the charm is for Zvezda. In the second game of the Serbian Super league Final, Crvena Zvezda won 62 – 68 against FMP and now they will have a first match point for their first trophy of this season. Last year champion won in Železnik mostly because FMP didn’t guard the ball very well and due to an excellent game of James Feldeine. The home team had 19 turnovers and bad long distance shots percentage, so the guests used the situation and now they are leading 2 – 0 before the third, maybe final, game in this domestic league season. The Red and Whites weren’t playing well either, they lost 14 balls but due to they won no one will remember the bad play. FMP won in the third semi-final game against Borac and now will face Crvena Zvezda in the Final of the Serbian Super League. The match between the team from Železnik and the team from Čačak finished with a score of 77 – 56. Both teams started well the third game but, at the end, the team from Železnik managed to win, all thanks to the great game showed by Michael Ojo. In the second semi-final game of the Serbian Super League between Partizan and Crvena Zvezda, the Red and Whites won with a score of 73 – 81 and made it to the Final. The season is over for the Black and Whites. In a full and excellent atmosphere in the Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall, Milenko Topić’s squad managed to celebrate.
