In the first round of the Group E in the Top 16 (Second phase) of the EuroCup, Rytas Vilnius is hosting Partizan in Lithuania. On the first night of the Round 12, Olympiacos won 88 – 81 against Efes; CSKA, 88 – 74 against Khimki; Fenerbahce, 92 – 85 against Milan; Baskonia, 79 – 81 against Maccabi; and, in the ACB Eternal Derby, Madrid won 92 – 65 against Barcelona. The night belonged to the home teams. In the five matches that were played, four hosts celebrated, only Baskonia won as an away squad, in Tel Aviv. In the Round 8 of the EuroCup, València won against Partizan, 61 – 69, in the Group C as a guest in the “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall (also known as Pionir). Both teams had ups and downs during the game, but, at the end, the experienced ACB team celebrated in a full Pionir. They are now the first in the group with 6 victories and 2 losses, while Andrea Trinchieri’s squad is at the last position with 2 wins and 6 losses.
