After the win in Belgrade (White City) against Partizan (68 – 72) in the EuroCup Top 16 Round 3, now, Monaco (La Roca Team, Les Rouges et Blancs, The Red and Whites) is hosting the Serbian team in the 4th round. Now, the team from Monaco has 2 wins and 1 loss, while the Black and Whites (Crno-Beli) have 1 victory and 2 defeats. In the Stade Louis II, Partizan will try to surprise the home team and score an away win. But it won’t be easy, because, this time, the crowd won’t be on their side as it was the case in Belgrade. In an excellent atmosphere in the “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall (also known as Pionir) Partizan won 78 – 66 (+12) against Berlin in the second round of the EuroCup Top 16. This is the first win for Trinchieri’s squad and the first loss for the German team in the Top 16, because the Serbian team lost 80 – 74 (-6) in the first round against Rytas Vilnius and Berlin was better than Monaco 83 – 74 (+9). After two rounds the situation in the group E is difficult because all the teams have one victory and one defeat (in the other game of the group, Monaco won against Rytas 75 – 70). In the first game of the EuroCup Top 16, Rytas Vilnius won 80 – 74 against Partizan in the capital of Lithuania. In this season first Belgrade derby, Crvena Zvezda won 71 – 77 against Partizan in an “away” game of the ABA league. The Crowd in the “Aleksandr Nikolic” Sports Hall was able to see two different halfs. The first one belonged to Partizan, and the second one, to Red and Whites (Crvena Zvezda, Crveno-beli). The Home team only played 20 minutes on a competitive level, and that wasn’t enough to win against the best team in the regional league.
