Partizan NIS scored its fifth victory in the Serbian “Super liga”. This time the Black and Whites were better than Metalac with a score of 91 – 79. In the other games in the group B, Dynamic won 94 – 83 against Vojvodina and FMP won 89 – 102 against Vršac. Even though Partizan won with a 12 points difference, after three quarters the situation was a little bit different. Metalac was leading by one before the last part of the match, but then Nenad Čanak’s team took the control of the game and finished that quarter with a score of 26 – 13 for the final result of 91 – 79. In the first day of the Round 5 of the Serbian “Super liga”, Crvena Zvezda MTS won 86 – 87 against Tamiš, Borac (from Čačak) was better than Mladost with a score of 96 – 63, while Mega Bemax scored their second win in the league, this time against Zlatibor. The final score was 79 – 82. The «Super liga» started and even though the teams from ABA League (Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Mega Bemax and FMP) are also the next year regional league’s participants and the other eight clubs (Borac, Tamiš, Metalac, Vršac, Zlatibor, Dynamik, Vojvodina and Mladost) will fight for the spots in ABA 2 League, noone is going to give up the last trophy in this season easily. There are two groups in the league, and in the group A are Zlatibor, Borac, Tamiš, Zvezda, Mega Bemax and Mladost, while in the group B are Partizan Mts, FMP, Dynamik, Vršac, Metalac and Vojvodina. Budućnost Voli won 77 – 73 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the fourth and final game, and for the first time in the club history won the title of the ABA League. So, in the next season, if everything goes as planned, the team from Podgorica will play the EuroLeague. The great season in the regional league was finished in the best possible way for the Montenegrin team, and in total they won 5 and lost only 1 game against the Red and Whites. This time, like it was in the third game, in a dramatic finish players from Budućnost were more focused and at the end they deserved this victory and title. Before the last game, it was tense off the court because the president of Crvena Zvezda Nebojiša Čović announced that his team won’t participate in the fourth game due to, as he said, bad treatment by referees.

Budućnost Voli won 78 – 77 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the third game of the Final Playoff, but this time in the Sports Hall “Morača” in Podgorica. The team from Montenegro is now one step away from winning the trophy in the ABA League. In a dramatic ending the Red and Whites had two shots for the victory, but both James Feldeine and Mathias Lessort missed their opportunities to be the players of the match. First, Feldeine had a chance with an unguarded three point shot, and the French center failed to make a correction after he got the rebound in the last second and went for a put-back. While they didn’t use their chances in this round, the real man of the match was Nemanja Gordić, who scored 17 points with 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and his free point shot set the final score in Podgorica.

In the second game of the ABA League Final Playoff, Crvena Zvezda Mts won against Budućnost Voli with a score of 69 – 59 and secure the game 4 in this Final Playoff. The teams from Serbia and Montenegro will move from Belgrade to Podgorica where they will continue fighting for the trophy and the spot in the next season EuroLeague.
