Amazing win for Borac, Zvezda without energy in Čačak (@KLSrbije, #KLSRB)

In the third round of the Serbian “Super liga”, Borac surprised Crvena Zvezda and celebrated 70 – 63 in Čačak, while Mega Bemax was defeated by Mladost with a score of 90 – 92 and Tamiš won 83 – 98 against Zlatibor.

In the first game of the round the team from ABA 2 League managed to win against this season EuroLeague and ABA league participant and, now, it is the only team in the group A without a loss. Now, Borac has 3 wins, while Red and Whites have 2 wins and one loss.

From the beginning the home team started motivated against Zvezda and most of the time was leading with double-digit difference. In the third quarter Borac had a maximal 18 points lead over the Red and Whites, while guests maximal lead was 3.

During the fourth quarter the guests had a chance to try and turn the direction of the game but Dušan Alimpijević’s team wasn’t mature enough and, at the end, Borac deserved to win.

The best player in Borac was Nikola Pešaković, with 13 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Marko Stojadinović scored one point less but had 10 rebounds, while Miloš Dimić finished the match with 11 points.

In the Red and Whites team, Filip Čović had 18 points, and the only other player with double-digit score was Marko Kešelj, with 10.

In another interesting game the players of Mladost were better that their colleges from Mega, so, for now, the two ABA league teams were defeated in the Round 3 of the “Super liga”.

The winner was unknown until the very end in Belgrade, where Dejan Milojević’s team is playing now, but his team lost and, now, it has 1 win and 2 losses.

During the match, the home team had a 14 points lead but managed to gamble it. The guests used their opponent’s empty minutes and took the win.

Two players had 17 points each one in Branko Maksimović’s team: Veljko Brkić and Vojin Svilar. Bratislav Jeković added 11. Those are only three players with more than 10 points score, but Mladost showed teamplay and every player on the court had an important part in this victory.

Goga Bitadze was the best player in Mega. He scored 19 points (with 15 rebounds for 31 index rating). Andrija Marjanović added 18, while 13 were scored by Luka Ašćerić.

In the last game of the first day of the Round 3, the “river” sank the “mountain” (Tamiš is the river and Zlatibor the mountain in Serbia).

Ivan Smiljanić scored 28 points with 8 rebounds for the guests and he was the player of the match. Stefan Mitrović had also a great scoring night, he added 24 points, while Aleksandar Ilkić finished the game with 13 points, 6 assists, 5 steals and 5 rebounds.

In Zlatibor, five players had 10 or more points: Vladimir Veličković (18), Svetozar Popović (17), Radomir Marojević (14), Milan Vulić (12) and Dragoslav Papić (10).
