In the first ABA League semi-final game, Crvena Zvezda is hosting Partizan in the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall (also known as Pionir), the home of both basketball clubs but now it will all be covered in The Red-Whites colours. After the regular season, Milan Tomić’s squad finished at the first position with only one loss (against Cedevita in the round 17 with a score of 84 – 68) and 21 victories. On the other hand, Partizan was the fourth club in the league with 14 wins and 8 defeats. This season, The Red-Whites won in both ABA League games against their most important opponent, their nearest neighbour. The First match was in the round 9, when The Black-Whites had the home court advantage but the Score was 71 – 77. And in the second game, in the round 20, when Zvezda hosted Partizan, the result was 70 – 68. But this

@ABA_League: Semi-final pairs decided by @BCFMP (@PartizanBC, #ABALiga)

In the ABA League last 22nd round, FMP won 73 – 72 against Partizan at home court and decided about the semi-final couples: Crvena Zvezda against Partizan and Cedevita against Budućnost. For the host, the game didn’t have any competitive motive but the tension between the opponents was highly visible and, as a result, Đorđe Gagić and Aleksandar Bursać were Disqualified after only 18 minutes of the game. Those players had a conflict and the referees decided that the game should continue without any of them. And even though Bursać spent only 11:01 minutes on the court, he was the MVP of the match, at least by looking at the stats. The FMP player scored 11 points and he only missed one three pointer (scored 1 from 2 attempts for three). His index rating was 16. But, the hero of the match was, definitely, Duop Reath who ended the game

In the ABA League round 22, the last round of its regular season, FMP is hosting Partizan. It is already known that Crvena Zvezda, Cedevita, Budućnost and Partizan will be in the semi-finals and it is also known that The Red-Whites and the team from Zagreb will have the home court advantage. Before the last round, Zvezda already secured the first place and yesterday the Croatian squad won 94 – 80 against Mornar and stayed at the second place. As I have mentioned before, the team from Belgrade is already among the best four teams of the regional league. And the team from Železnik (Belgrade suborn) will be in the league next season. All four teams from Serbia (Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Mega and FMP) will stay in the ABA League next season. So, the only goal in this game for The Black-Whites is the chance to qualify for the semi-finals

@EuroLeague: @Fenerbahce couldn’t stop Llull, easy win for Madrid (MVP)

0

In not an interesting game, as it was expected, between Madrid and Fenerbahce, the home team got a win (101 – 86, +15) in the Euroleague Round 25. The ACB squad scored their 19th victory, while the Turkish one had their 4th loss. And it was easier than expected, Fener was totally without energy. The co-MVP was Sergio Lull with 17 points and 10 assists (index rating of 25). His teammate Anthony Randolph scored 21 points (index rating of 25, too). On the other side, Kostas Sloukas was the only one who was trying to do anything even though he was making mistakes too. The Greek player finished the match with 15 points and 7 assists. Even though, there were more players with double-digit score in Fenerbahce and with a solid role in Madrid, these three mentioned before were the key players, especially Llull, who shined in the third quarter.

Crvena Zvezda Basketball Club (Košarkaški klub Crvena zvezda, KK Crvena zvezda, Red Star Basketball Club, Crveno-beli, The Red-Whites, Zvezda, The Star) won against Partizan (Crno-Beli, The Black-Whites) 70 – 68 (+2) in the ABA League Round 20 and most likely announced another matches between these two rivals in the semi-finals. There are only two more rounds in the regional league and if don’t happen anything unexpected (unexpected is that Budućnost loss any of their three upcoming games), Partizan will be the fourth and will face The Red-Whites in the Playoffs, to be exact, in the semi-finals, and Cedevita will play against Budućnost. Andrea Trinchieri’s squad played without Stefan Janković who is injured and he didn’t practice with the team before the “Eternal” derby. Both teams was leading during the match, and the crucial points in the last quarter was made by Joe Ragland from the free-throw line. Partizan had a

The Serbian national team will face Israel in the most important match of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers (for both teams) in the Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall. After the surprising loss against Estonia, in Tallinn, with a score of 71 – 70, Aleksandar Đorđević’s squad is facing with the possibility of not to be in China this September. A «Minimal defeat» (even by 21 points, as you can check through this link) can also take the Serbian team to China, but then they will depend on the other match, so it is better to say that in order to play the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019, the home team needs to win against Israel. In the game, in Pionir, Nikola Milutinov and Vladimir Lučić will play and help the team in order to fulfil the goal, and also Vasilije Micić is in Belgrade too, but his participation
