September Window: Đorđević unveils 16 players roster (@FIBA, Bjelica, Bogdanović)

The Head coach of the Serbian national team, Aleksandar Đorđević, announced the national selection that will compete in the September window of the European Qualifiers 2017-2019 games for the FIBA Basketball World Cup China 2019. Despite the fact that Boban Marjanović (Center, C), Miloš Teodosić (Point guard – Shooting guard, PG – SG) and Nikola Jokić (C) won’t play for the national team, the Serbian squad is ready for the new challenges. The First two mentioned players won’t play due the decision of their club, Los Angeles Clippers, and Jokić decided not to play due to unknown reasons. The Serbian national team will include, among others, Sacramento Kings Nemanja Bjelica (Power forward – Small forward, PF – SF) and Bogdan Bogdanović (SG), while plenty EuroLeague players had made the cut.
