At the beginning, the match in Mega Factory Arena showed that the winner will be known after the last second. In the third quarter everyone thought that Crvena Zvezda will win because in one moment the Red and Whites were leading by 13, but Dejan Milojević’s team didn’t back down and at the end that payed off. Also, the win was more important due to the fact that seven important players didn’t play for Mega. The key of the victory in this match: Mega had 54 rebounds, and 22 were offensive rebounds.

After the match, coach Alimpijević said that his players weren’t in the game at all.
“It is not impossible to play, but it is impossible to win when one team have 54 rebounds. We have to be ashamed because we allowed 54 rebounds, and 22 in offense, and one player had 12 offensive rebounds. Mega deserved the win, I want to congratulate them. This wasn’t the first time that my players weren’t in the game, but I won’t comment anymore. I will talk with people from the club, so I won’t tell now anything else”, said Alimpijević after the game.
The Red and Whites captain, Branko Lazić, congratulated Mega players on the deserved victory.
On the other side, Dejan Milojević was satisfied with the victory.
“This is a huge win for us, especially because we played in this situation. More than a half of the team was absent. We played like men, tough game. This win isn’t important for the result or any kind of trophy but we gained self-confidence. We showed that we can play against the best team in league and that we can win against them. I hope we will play game by game as a team”, said Milojević.
