Budućnost Voli won 76 – 80 in the first game of the ABA League Final Playoff against Crvena Zvezda on the road in Belgrade and took the lead 0 – 1 in this Final Playoff. Everything is ready for the beginning of the @ABA_League semi-finals that start tonight in Belgrade and Podgorica. After the regular season, four teams are now ready to start the Playoffs and the battle for the trophy and the spot in the next season @EuroLeague. Those four teams are Crvena Zvezda from Belgrade, Budućnost from Podgorica, Cedevita from Zagreb and Mornar from Bar. The team from Belgrade, Partizan NIS, lost (85 – 75) against Cedevita in the Round 22, final one in the regular season of the 2017-2018 ABA League, and help the team from Zagreb to dream about finishing the regular season as the second best. At least till Monday Cedevita can hope to gain the home court advantage against Budućnost, who will play against FMP Železnik in the final round of the regional league. Partizan NIS went to Zagreb where they will say goodbye to this season of the ABA League in the match against Cedevita, because the team from Belgrade won’t participate in the Playoffs. The four teams that will continue competing in the regional league are Black and Whites final opponent (Cedevita), Crvena Zvezda (that finished the regular season as the best team) and two teams from Montenegro: Budućnost and Mornar. For Partizan, the match against Cedevita is the last game in the league in the season 2017-2018. Partizan NIS is hosting Budućnost Voli in the Round 21 of ABA League after two weeks break due to domestic cups and national team games. Black and Whites won “Radivoje Korać” Cup by beating Crvena Zvezda in the final, while Budućnost won against Mornar in the final of the Montenegrin Cup. Now, the teams are back in ABA League and in the game against Nenad Čanak’s and the squad of Aleksandar Džikić, and both teams are ready for a new challenge: Partizan to stay at the fifth place and team from Podgorica to stay the first in the league before the Playoffs. Serbia won 81 – 82 against Austria in a dramatic game of the second window of the qualification tournament for World Cup 2019 in China. Hero of the victory was Aleksa Avramović, who made three points shot 19 seconds before the end of the game. It wasn’t an easy win for Serbia, but Aleksandar Đorđević’s team scored third victory after four games, and stayed at second place in the group G, behind Germany. In the first game of the second window for World Cup 2019 that will take place in China, the Serbian team lost against Germany in Frankfurt with a result of 79 – 74.
