It is not a custom for Andrea Trinchieri to say as little as it was the case at the press conference after Partizan (the Black and Whites, Crno-Beli) lost 71 – 77 against Crvena Zvezda (the Red and Whites, Crveno-beli). The Black and Whites head coach said that the lost against their eternal opponent was his fault. “It is not enough to play only 20 of 40 minutes. The third quarter was the crucial, in that part we lost our game, defense, offense. I am really sorry, especially for the club president and our fans. They all did the best for this to look much better. This one’s on me, it is my fault. There is not much to say. I didn’t use the wright words, I tried to prepare the team to play, but they were ready for 20 minutes only. I think we are on the right track,

This time, like it was in the third game, in a dramatic finish players from Budućnost were more focused and at the end they deserved this victory and title. Before the last game, it was tense off the court because the president of Crvena Zvezda Nebojiša Čović announced that his team won’t participate in the fourth game due to, as he said, bad treatment by referees.

The team from Montenegro is now one step away from winning the trophy in the ABA League. In a dramatic ending the Red and Whites had two shots for the victory, but both James Feldeine and Mathias Lessort missed their opportunities to be the players of the match. First, Feldeine had a chance with an unguarded three point shot, and the French center failed to make a correction after he got the rebound in the last second and went for a put-back. While they didn’t use their chances in this round, the real man of the match was Nemanja Gordić, who scored 17 points with 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and his free point shot set the final score in Podgorica.

After two games between Crvena Zvezda and Mornar and Budućnost and Cedevita the result is tie. The teams who will fight in the final of the ABA League are still unknown. In the first game Red and Whites won 91 – 63 in front of their own crowd and they were all hoping that they will finish the series against Mornar in the second game. But the team from Bar, Montenegro, surprised Dušan Alimpijević’s squad and won in the second game with the result of 88 – 84. On paper, the team from Belgrade is stronger than Mornar, but they need to prove it on the court, and in the second game they didn’t show much. The Montenegrin team showed an extraordinary teamplay and didn’t allowed the guests to lead at any moment of the game. They protected home court and allowed themselves to continue dreaming of the final. If
