In the first round of the Group E in the Top 16 (Second phase) of the EuroCup, Rytas Vilnius is hosting Partizan in Lithuania. These two teams played against each other four times in the past, and the hosts won in all four previous games. The last two matchs were on schedule last year although in the first phase of the EuroCup. In the Round 12 of the ABA League, Partizan lost 71 – 76 against Cedevita from Zagreb in the “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall. The Black and White squad lost in the first test game before the start of the season against a German team, Oldenburg, after the overtime (OT), with a score of 93 – 95. In the first quarter, Partizan managed to have double-digits lead fast (25 – 12, +13), but before the 15 minutes break, the guests from Germany were only three points behind (45 – 42, -3). In the Group C, Russian team completed a perfect Regular Season by beating Partizan NIS with a score 99 – 64. While this was another step for Russian club, team from Belgrade had its last EuroCup game this season, which it finished with 9 losses and 1 victory. The only win Partizan had against Bilbao in the third round and with this score Belgrade team is the last one in Group C. Saša Obradović’s team already advanced to Top 16 phase but with this victory before year 2018 they set the perfect score with no losses.
