Budućnost Voli won 78 – 77 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the third game of the Final Playoff, but this time in the Sports Hall “Morača” in Podgorica. The team from Montenegro is now one step away from winning the trophy in the ABA League. In a dramatic ending the Red and Whites had two shots for the victory, but both James Feldeine and Mathias Lessort missed their opportunities to be the players of the match. First, Feldeine had a chance with an unguarded three point shot, and the French center failed to make a correction after he got the rebound in the last second and went for a put-back. While they didn’t use their chances in this round, the real man of the match was Nemanja Gordić, who scored 17 points with 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and his free point shot set the final score in Podgorica.

In the second game of the ABA League Final Playoff, Crvena Zvezda Mts won against Budućnost Voli with a score of 69 – 59 and secure the game 4 in this Final Playoff. The teams from Serbia and Montenegro will move from Belgrade to Podgorica where they will continue fighting for the trophy and the spot in the next season EuroLeague. Everything is ready for the beginning of the @ABA_League semi-finals that start tonight in Belgrade and Podgorica. After the regular season, four teams are now ready to start the Playoffs and the battle for the trophy and the spot in the next season @EuroLeague. Partizan NIS went to Zagreb where they will say goodbye to this season of the ABA League in the match against Cedevita, because the team from Belgrade won’t participate in the Playoffs. The four teams that will continue competing in the regional league are Black and Whites final opponent (Cedevita), Crvena Zvezda (that finished the regular season as the best team) and two teams from Montenegro: Budućnost and Mornar. For Partizan, the match against Cedevita is the last game in the league in the season 2017-2018. On the other hand, the team from Zagreb will continue their fight and if they win against Black and Whites they will have a chance to finish the regular season as the second best team and to have the home advantage against their opponent in the Playoffs (Budućnost). Partizan NIS is hosting Budućnost Voli in the Round 21 of ABA League after two weeks break due to domestic cups and national team games. Black and Whites won “Radivoje Korać” Cup by beating Crvena Zvezda in the final, while Budućnost won against Mornar in the final of the Montenegrin Cup. Now, the teams are back in ABA League and in the game against Nenad Čanak’s and the squad of Aleksandar Džikić, and both teams are ready for a new challenge: Partizan to stay at the fifth place and team from Podgorica to stay the first in the league before the Playoffs.
