FMP won in the third semi-final game against Borac and now will face Crvena Zvezda in the Final of the Serbian Super League. The match between the team from Železnik and the team from Čačak finished with a score of 77 – 56. Both teams started well the third game but, at the end, the team from Železnik managed to win, all thanks to the great game showed by Michael Ojo. Borac didn’t have any way to stop the Nigerian-American player from FMP. The home team was only leading by 3 after the first half, but in the second part of the game the guests only scored 15 points so all their hopes were left behind. Borac, from Čačak, managed to win 64 – 59 against FMP Železnik in the second semi-final game of the Serbian Super League. The second finalist will be known after the third game and that team will face Crvena Zvezda. The guests, from Železnik, played better in the first half, but the second one belonged to the home team. Borac managed to return after FMP was leading by 17, and not just make the game more interesting but also win and celebrate with their fans. And the sports hall in Čačak was crowded, there were no empty seats left. In the second semi-final game of the Sebian Super liga, FMP won 71 – 69 against Borac from Čačak, and now has a first match point. The next game will be played in Čačak and Borac will have a 6th player because their Sports Hall will be full of supporters, especially because this semi-final is the best result in the new history of the club. In Železnik, basketball fans was able to see an interesting match because both teams played well. FMP started more focused than their opponent and in one moment they were leading by 15, but the guests didn’t allowed the opponent to celebrate early. BC Borac from Čačak won in the third last game against Dynamic in the quarter-finals of the Serbian Super League and announced the semi-finals games against FMP. The final score was 85 – 77. Not long ago, Serbian national team won silver medal at EuroBasket 2017, and now the team has to be ready for new challenge, World Cup qualification tournament. In order to accomplish the goal, and that is booking ticket for China, to participate in World Cup 2019, Serbian head coach Aleksandar Đorđević announced preliminary squad. There is no surprise that in this list won’t be players who play in NBA league, Miloš Teodosić, Nikola Jokić, Boban Marjanović, Nemanja Bjelica and Bogdan Bogdanović, but in their absence, coach called some young guys and also players from EuroLeague who played on previous tournament held in Turkey.
