BC Partizan NIS won against MZT Skopje 112 – 94 in «Aleksandar Nikolić» Sports Hall in the Round 12 of ABA League. In his debut game, new head coach Nenad Čanak managed to lead black and whites team to their 6th win in regional league and with this win players of Partizan are continuing their battle for Playoff spot. Player of the match was Mihajlo Andrić, with 29 points (5 of 7 for threepointers), Aleksandar Aranitović added 17 points, same as Patrick Miller, while Nigel Williams-Goss finished the game with 12 points. Partizan NIS lost 5th game in a row in ABA League, and this time Cedevita was better than black and whites with a score of 82 – 92. Interesting fact was that guest from Croatia scored 15 three points shots and they were shooting 31 times, so they had 48.4% for three pointers. The best player from Cedevita was Roko Leni Ukić, who finished the game with 23 points and 6 assists, while Dženan Musa added 16, and Demetrius Nichols 12 (10 points in the first half). In Partizan, Nigel Williams-Goss was the best with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. And he was one of the two players who scored double-digits for black and whites. In a great atmosphere in Morača Sports Hall, Budućnost VOLI celebrated against Partizan NIS with a score 86 – 79 and remained the only team with one loss in ABA League after 10 rounds. The game was exciting until the very last minutes when black and whites loss the strength and missed great opportunity to win against the best team in the league so far. Belgrade team Partizan Nis lost as host against Olimpija from Ljubljana with the score of 77 – 78 in the Round 9 of ABA League, mostly because of the good defense in the second half. Partizan won against Mega Bemax 89 – 102 (23 – 21, 21 – 30, 16 – 22, 29 – 29) in Sremska Mitrovica in Round 8 of ABA League. Looking into points by quarters, interesting fact is that Partizan scored more than 20 points in every 10 minutes of the game, while Mega only didn’t score more than 20 in the third quarter (16). And also judging by the whole game, anyone could see that this was an interesting game, with lots of points and lots of successful attacks but defense was really invisible here.
