Head coach of Serbian national team Aleksandar Đorđević announced preliminary squad for the second window of World Cup Qualifications. In February, Serbian men senior basketball team will play two games of the second window in the qualifications for World Cup that will take place in China in 2019. First rival of Đorđević’s squad will be Germany and second one, Austria. “Eagles” will gathered on February 19th in hotel “Crown Plaza” in Belgrade, and they are going to practice in the capital of Serbia till February 22nd, when the flight for Frankfurt is booked. The day after that one (23rd) Serbian squad will play game against German national team, and match will take place in the same city. Serbia played it’s second WC qualification game in Belgrade, 2 days ago, on November 27th. Georgia and Tskitizhvili opened the gane with 2 points shot and closed the first quarter with the lead. Serbian player Ilija Djokovic made three points shot little less than 1 minute before the end of the quarter for the even 21. In the second quarter Serbia were leading till four minutes before the end, when Georgia first got really lost on the court and then took the lead, all thanks to Dixon’s three in a row three points shots. Serbia scored their second win in World Cup Qualification Tournament after beating Georgia 105 – 87 at home court. In the first game of FIBA MundoBasket Qualification Tournament Serbia won 85 – 64 against Austria in Belgrade Hall “Aleksandar Nikolić”. It was not surprise that Serbia won, and only team when Austria got closer was in the first minutes of the games, but after score 9 – 8 for Serbia, guests didn’t have any chance of making any surprise in the game against vice champions from EuroBasket 2017. For Serbian team, the best scorer for winning team was Ivan Paunić with 16 points, while two players finished the game with 15 points – Miroslav Raduljica and Marko Simonović. Hace Menos de 1 mes, el Pasado 18/10/2017 (miércoles, hace 20 días Exactos, Menos de 3 semanas) Publicábamos el Artículo Titulado «¿Tiene sentido “las Ventanas FIBA” de Clasificación para el Mundial 2019?» en el que mencionábamos la pretensión de «que se paralicen Todas las Competiciones de Clubes«, la Existencia de «Hasta 6 «Ventanas» entre 2017, 2018 y 2019» y el riesgo de «que sus Partidos de Clasificación queden tremendamente devaluados y pudieran llegar a poner en peligro la Clasificación de alguna Selección que «debería» disputar el Mundial 2019«, entre otros temas. ¿»Me» Clasifico y No juego el Mundial 2019? Red Star won in the first derby against Partizan with a score 85 – 100 in front of the black and white crowd and made fifth victory in ABA League, while this was third loss for Miroslav Nikolić’s team. “Aleksandar Nikolić” hall was in black and white colours but there were about 500 Red Star fans also.
