0

In the opening round of the season in the @EuroCup, @PartizanBC lost 82 – 73 against Trento (@AquilaBasketTN) on the road and showed two different faces during the game. The Opening quarter was fantastic for Partizan, because after 10 minutes they were leading by 7 (17 – 24). The Defense was amazing, all because an excellent communication between the players. Attractive points and fast play. Trento didn’t have a solution for the visitors from Belgrade. During the eight minutes in the second quarter the Black and Whites continued playing same as in the first, but then Đorđe Gagić made a technical foul and after that Trento made a 9 – 0. The result after the first half was 43 – 43. Another unsportsmanlike foul was made by Gagić in the third quarter and the Black and White center had to leave the game and to spend the rest of the

0

In the opening round of the season in the ABA League, Partizan won 84 – 87 against Cedevita on the road, in the “Dom sportova” Sports Hall, Zagreb. A Fantastic first half gave the Black and Whites a win over the Croatian club and with this win the Serbian club started the 2018 – 2019 season just in the way they desired: with a victory on the road. This is the only second win as visitors against Cedevita in the entire history of the regional league. By the half time Partizan were leading up by 21 points, but in the second part of the game, the home team fight back and about 2 minutes before the end of the match they cut the deficit to only one point. @ABA_League Supercup Final #ABALiga: First trophy for @kkcrvenazvezda

0

After beating Cedevita (68 – 79) in the semi-finals of the ABA League Supercup, Crvena Zvezda won the first trophy in the season by winning 75 – 89 against Budućnost. In the First semi-finals Budućnost was facing another Serbian team, Partizan, and after the overtime celebrated with a score of 87 – 90. But, the only EuroLegaue team in the regional league (Budućnost) didn’t have the strength to celebrate against the excellent Red and Whites (Crvena Zvezda). The First half decided the winner of the match because after 20 minutes Milan Tomić’s squad was leading by 25 (57 – 32). The Montenegrin team took control of the game in the second half, but the team didn’t have the strength to score the victory in Laktaši (Republika Srpska, part of Bosnia and Herzegovina). The Red and Whites played excellent during the finals and manage to get even for the lost in

@ABA_League Super Cup Semi-finals #ABALiga: @KKCedevita – @kkcrvenazvezda

In the second day of the ABA League Super Cup, Cedevita (a Croatian team) was better than Zadar (a team from Croatia) with a score of 85 – 77, while Crvena Zvezda (a squad from Serbia) won 86 – 60 against Olimpija (a Slovenian squad). So, after Partizan (a Sebian squad) – Budućnost (a Montenegrin team), the second semi-finalists are Cedevita (from Zagreb) and Red and Whites (from Belgrade, Serbia). Cedevita have successfully started their 2018-2019 season by beating Zadar in the 2018 ABA League Quarterfinals. Although they haven’t really presented their best performance, the Orange squad can be quite satisfied with the way they looked in their 1st official game. With no less than 8 new players in the team, the team from Zagreb showed some great teamwork, so their fans can definitely be excited about the new season. The best scorer in the winning team was James Bell

@FIBA Window: Greece 7 – 0, Serbia 4 – 3 after the game in Crete (Bogdanović)

0

The Serbian national team lost 70 – 63 against Greece in the second part of the World Cup 2019 Qualifications. Aleksandar Đorđević’s squad didn’t show enough energy in Crete against the first team in the Group L. On paper, Serbia had a respectable team but without enough time during preparations process and especially without any friendly games Greece was too strong. Bogdan Bogdanović and company scored only 2 points in the crucial minutes. Also, the team showed lack of communication in defence and maybe that was the main reason why Serbia lost. And the fact that Greeks were guarding Bogdanović very well while his teammates didn’t have any other solution but to pass him the ball in offence. The Sacramento Kings shooting guard (Bogdanović) was the best scorer with 19 points while Stefan Jović (Munich point guard) finished the match with 11. On the other side, Nick Calathes and Georgios

Partizan BC finished its preparation games in Spain and will return to Belgrade with one victory, against Angola national squad, and 4 losses, against Baskonia, Zaragoza, Tenerife and Barcelona. Even though the team from Belgrade lost in all four games against the ACB teams it was a good pre-season practice process because the Black and Whites were able to play against two EuroLeague teams: Baskonia and Barcelona. It was an opportunity for the young squad to play against excellent and much famous players and get the chance to learn from them. The first game Partizan played was against Baskonia and the final result of that game was 91 – 54 for the ACB squad. In that game, the only double-digits scorer in the Black and Whites squad was Jock Landale (C) with 10 points. Tornike Shengelia (PF), from Baskonia, finished the game with 27 points.
