In the Round 10 of the Serbian Super liga, Crvena Zvezda won 94 – 87 against Tamiš; Borac, 66 – 120 against Mladost; and Mega Bemax, 96 – 90 against Zlatibor. The Red and Whites won against Tamiš for the first spot in the Group A and from that position they are going to the Playoff. Tamiš won’t be participating in the Playoff. It wasn’t an easy win for Crvena Zvezda: in few moments Tamiš took the lead but Milenko Topić’s squad managed to get back in the game and control the result. The best one on the court for the Red and Whites was Alen Omić with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists (index rating 40). James Feldeine added 17, while team captain, Branko Lazić, scored 14. Borac won against Mega for the second spot in the Group A (@KLSrbije, #KLSRB)

On the first day of the Round 9 in the Serbian Super League, Borac won 89 – 77 against Mega Bemax, Crvena Zvezda was better than Zlatibor with a score of 75 – 89 and Tamiš beat Mladost with a 21 points difference (102 – 81). In the game for the second place in the Group A, Borac managed to win in front of their own crowd. This was the second win in the league for the team from Čačak against Mega Bemax. The maximum lead for Borac was 28 points. Also the guests had been leading during the game, and their maximum lead was 7 points. Both teams had 17 rebounds, so the home team managed to do what Zvezda couldn’t: not to allow Mega players to jump. Budućnost Voli won 77 – 73 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the fourth and final game, and for the first time in the club history won the title of the ABA League. So, in the next season, if everything goes as planned, the team from Podgorica will play the EuroLeague. The great season in the regional league was finished in the best possible way for the Montenegrin team, and in total they won 5 and lost only 1 game against the Red and Whites. This time, like it was in the third game, in a dramatic finish players from Budućnost were more focused and at the end they deserved this victory and title. Before the last game, it was tense off the court because the president of Crvena Zvezda Nebojiša Čović announced that his team won’t participate in the fourth game due to, as he said, bad treatment by referees.

Budućnost Voli won 78 – 77 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the third game of the Final Playoff, but this time in the Sports Hall “Morača” in Podgorica. The team from Montenegro is now one step away from winning the trophy in the ABA League. In a dramatic ending the Red and Whites had two shots for the victory, but both James Feldeine and Mathias Lessort missed their opportunities to be the players of the match. First, Feldeine had a chance with an unguarded three point shot, and the French center failed to make a correction after he got the rebound in the last second and went for a put-back. While they didn’t use their chances in this round, the real man of the match was Nemanja Gordić, who scored 17 points with 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and his free point shot set the final score in Podgorica.

In the second game of the ABA League Final Playoff, Crvena Zvezda Mts won against Budućnost Voli with a score of 69 – 59 and secure the game 4 in this Final Playoff. The teams from Serbia and Montenegro will move from Belgrade to Podgorica where they will continue fighting for the trophy and the spot in the next season EuroLeague. Everything is ready for the beginning of the @ABA_League semi-finals that start tonight in Belgrade and Podgorica. After the regular season, four teams are now ready to start the Playoffs and the battle for the trophy and the spot in the next season @EuroLeague. Those four teams are Crvena Zvezda from Belgrade, Budućnost from Podgorica, Cedevita from Zagreb and Mornar from Bar.
