The Black and White squad lost in the first test game before the start of the season against a German team, Oldenburg, after the overtime (OT), with a score of 93 – 95. In the first quarter, Partizan managed to have double-digits lead fast (25 – 12, +13), but before the 15 minutes break, the guests from Germany were only three points behind (45 – 42, -3). And in the second half both teams had mini-series till the last 60 seconds of the game when the score was 80 – 80. In the last minute, Oldenburg took the lead, but Partizan managed to score and take the game in OT, where it was also seen a big fight between the teams. At the end, the German squad celebrated. The team from Belgrade, Partizan NIS, lost (85 – 75) against Cedevita in the Round 22, final one in the regular season of the 2017-2018 ABA League, and help the team from Zagreb to dream about finishing the regular season as the second best. At least till Monday Cedevita can hope to gain the home court advantage against Budućnost, who will play against FMP Železnik in the final round of the regional league. That match will decide who will be second and third teams in the league after the regular season. In two totally different halfs, Partizan managed to recuperate after Budućnost 18 points lead and win 94 – 83 in the match of the Round 21 of ABA League. Before the start of the game, Partizan’s captain Novica Veličković got the gear with the number 400, because of the games he played as a member of Black and White family that he accomplished in “Radivoje Korać” Cup. Limoges celebrated in Belgrade (@EuroCup, @PartizanBC)

In front of 700 people in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall, French team Limoges won 98 – 101 against Partizan NIS in the 9th round of the EuroCup. This round was dedicated to One Team and, in Serbia, Partizan introduced children from Zvečanska (orphanage in Belgrade) and Special Olympics team. Black and whites were playing in almost empty hall due to Saint Nicholas Day. It is a custom in Serbia that half citizens are celebrating this Saint and half are at someone else’s celebration. But that didn’t stop Nenad Čanak’s team to play a good game against French team. Black and whites showed energy on the court and in the end it didn’t pay-off but this game could be a lesson for more important games in the future.
