In the Round 6 of the EuroCup, Partizan scored its 2nd win by beating Trento with a score of 76 – 71 in the “Aleksandar Nikolic” Sports Hall.

It was a difficult game from the beginning. Partizan was leading all the time and, in the end, managed to save the win.

The top scorer for the home team was Jock Landale with 18 points. Marcus Paige scored two points less. Rade Zagorac added 12 points and Vanja Marinlovic ended the match with 10.

For Trento, the topt was Nikola Jovanovic with 20 points, while 10 was scored by Devyn Marble.

The Starting five for the Black and Whites were Paige, Marinkovic, Gegic, Jankovic and Landale and the first points were scored after almost two minutes of play by Stefan Jankovic (2 points). The Great atmosphere in the “Aleksandr Nikolic” Sports Hall helped the team to have 14 points difference (19 – 5) 2 minutes before the end of the first quarter. The result of the first quarter was 22 – 7 for Trinchieri’s squad.

In the second quarter, the Italian team started better than the home squad and after five minutes of that period of the match they were 6 points behind Partizan and two minutes before the end the result was 32 – 28. At the end of the first half Partizan remained on 4 points difference (36 – 32).

Marcus Page was the best with 11 points after the first half in the Black and White team, while Jock Landale scored 7. In Trento, Nikola Jovanovic, who is on loan from Crvena Zvezda, had 14 points and 5 rebounds.

An Amazing start of the third quarter allowed Partizan to lead by 9 points after less than 3 minutes played in that part, but again the guests managed to get closer, all thanks to Jovanovic, but four minutes before the end he was evicted due to unsportsmanlike fault. After he left the bench, the Serbian team again played their own game and the score before the last part was 56 – 49 for the home squad.

Again, the start was better for Partizan and after the first 3 minutes of the fourth quarter the Black and Whites had double-digit lead, but Trento got back in the game so the last 5 minutes was crucial for both teams. And it was a one possession game 30 seconds before the end. But, at the end, the only important thing is the victory and Trinchieri’s squad nailed it. The Final score was 76 – 71.
