@ABA_League: The Black and Whites (@PartizanBC) celebrated in overtime (MVP)

In the ABA League Round 16, Partizan celebrated 92 – 97 (+5) against Zadar (after one overtime) in the Krešimir Ćosić Sports Hall. After 45 minutes, the team from Belgrade («White City«) managed to score an important win for the chance to fight for the Playoffs. The Home team took the lead at the beginning of the match and, in the second part, Partizan managed to turn the game around. Eventually, after the first 10 minutes, the hosts were leading by 3 (23 – 20). @ABA_League: @PartizanBC lost in Arena, Čanak made honourable move

It was a really sad night in the Štark Arena not only because Partizan lost 85 – 95 against Zadar. After the game, now already ex head coach, Nenad Čanak had a heartbreaking press conference. Čanak announced that he was leaving Partizan because, in his opinion, the team deserve better. It was a brave and honourable move. Everyone could see how much the coach love his club because of his unselfish sacrifice. “I said goodbye to players”, was the first thing Čanak said at the press conference after the fifth consecutive loss. “This team don’t show their best play, and I gave my best, my knowledge, energy but that wasn’t enough and something that Partizan needs in this moment. It was my fault we lost a home game against a team that isn’t better than us. And this is the best move, because the team needs new energy, shock therapy.

New Year, new start: @PartizanBC won against Zadar (@ABA_League)

In front of 6300 people, in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall, Partizan NIS won against Croatian team Zadar with a score of 95 – 87, and with this win stopped their losing streak. The team from Belgrade also had dangerous minutes during the game, but the perfect third quarter was the key moment in the game. In the previous games Partizan played, this quarter was the worst one of all four, but against Zadar it was the best part of the game and the best quarter in this season for Nenad Čanak’s team. This was an interesting weekend in ABA League, because BC Partizan won 97 – 104 against Zadar, while Red Star lost home game against Montenegrin team Budućnost with a score 75 – 79. After they lost the game in EuroCup against Alba from Berlin, team of Miroslav Nikolić went directly to Zadar to play in the fourth round of regional league and won the game. Partizan in Zadar will try to score second victory in @ABA_League

After big lost against Alba from Berlin in the opening match of EuroCup, basketball club Partizan went directly to Croatia to play against Zadar in the fourth round of regional league. In ABA League, both Partizan and Zadar have two losses and one victory and both team won in the last round. Partizan won against FMP 87 – 84, while Zadar was better than MZT (80 – 85).
