In front of 700 people in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall, French team Limoges won 98 – 101 against Partizan NIS in the 9th round of the EuroCup. This round was dedicated to One Team and, in Serbia, Partizan introduced children from Zvečanska (orphanage in Belgrade) and Special Olympics team. Black and whites were playing in almost empty hall due to Saint Nicholas Day. It is a custom in Serbia that half citizens are celebrating this Saint and half are at someone else’s celebration. But that didn’t stop Nenad Čanak’s team to play a good game against French team. Black and whites showed energy on the court and in the end it didn’t pay-off but this game could be a lesson for more important games in the future. Limoges too strong for Partizan (@EuroCup)

Partizan Nis lost 92 – 83 as guest against Limoges from France, at Palais des Sports de Beaublanc in the fourth round of EuroCup. Miroslav Nikolić’s squad wasn’t able to score second victory in European club competition and now they have 3 losses and 1 victory. Axel Bouteille was best in Limoges with 21 points, while Mam Jaiteh posted 18 points and 7 rebounds, Danny Gibson scored 12, Conklin finished with 11 and Kenny Haynes finished the game with 9 points, 9 assists and 3 steals. After two losses in ABA League, Red Star managed to win in Belgrade 112 – 73 against MZT from Skopje in the Round 6 of the regional league. The reigning champions left guests without any chance of scoring a win and showed their full strength in the convincing home win against team from Macedonia. This was, by far, the best performance of Red Star in this ABA League season. The best in the winning team was Nikola Radičević with 17 points and 10 assists, while James Feldeine scored 15. Two players finished the game with 14 points, Dragan Apić and Mathias Lessort, while three players finished with 11 points each, Stefan Janković, Nikola Jovanović and Milko Bjelica.
