The head coach of the Serbian national team, Aleksandar Đorđević, announced the preliminary squad for the fourth qualification window for the World Cup 2019 in China and 24 names are on the list. The Serbian men team will play against Greece (September 13th) and Estonia (September 16th) in this window. The match against Greece will be played in Iraklion (Crete) and the one against Estonia, in Belgrade. Among the 24 players there are players from EuroLeague teams and from NBA teams, so if they accept the invitation, it will be a great opportunity for basketball lovers to see the best Serbian players on the court. The preparation process for the games against Greece and Estonia will start on September 2nd in Belgrade, where the team will stay until the trip to Crete. Not long ago, Serbian national team won silver medal at EuroBasket 2017, and now the team has to be ready for new challenge, World Cup qualification tournament. In order to accomplish the goal, and that is booking ticket for China, to participate in World Cup 2019, Serbian head coach Aleksandar Đorđević announced preliminary squad.
