Serbia played it’s second WC qualification game in Belgrade, 2 days ago, on November 27th. Georgia and Tskitizhvili opened the gane with 2 points shot and closed the first quarter with the lead. Serbian player Ilija Djokovic made three points shot little less than 1 minute before the end of the quarter for the even 21. In the second quarter Serbia were leading till four minutes before the end, when Georgia first got really lost on the court and then took the lead, all thanks to Dixon’s three in a row three points shots. Also, at the end of the quarter Dixon made two points for a final result of 44 – 45 for Georgia. Serbia scored their second win in World Cup Qualification Tournament after beating Georgia 105 – 87 at home court. In almost full “Aleksandar Nikolić” Hall, Serbian team scored another victory, and after the game head coach Aleksandar Đorđević was satisfied with the outcome. “This is a very important victory for us, I am not sure that players are aware of how important win this was”, said Đorđević at the beginning of press conference after the game. “I am very proud to coach this group of people. Easy win for Serbia against Austria (@FIBA)

In the first game of FIBA MundoBasket Qualification Tournament Serbia won 85 – 64 against Austria in Belgrade Hall “Aleksandar Nikolić”. It was not surprise that Serbia won, and only team when Austria got closer was in the first minutes of the games, but after score 9 – 8 for Serbia, guests didn’t have any chance of making any surprise in the game against vice champions from EuroBasket 2017. For Serbian team, the best scorer for winning team was Ivan Paunić with 16 points, while two players finished the game with 15 points – Miroslav Raduljica and Marko Simonović.
