0

In the last ABA League semifinal games, Crvena Zvezda won 84 – 63 against Partizan, while Budućnost was better in Zagreb, against Cedevita, with a score of 73 – 78. The team from Podgorica (Montenegro) will try to defend the tittle and the spot in the EuroLeague, while The Red-Whites are going to try to return the best European club competition to Belgrade. In the match between The Red-Whites and The Black-Whites there were no doubt about who will win in the third game because the home team was leading from the start. They wanted more and in every part of the game, Milan Tomić’s squad didn’t let their opponent to get close. Andrea Trinchieri’s team was only better in the last quarter but it was not enough to make a comeback and win in the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall (also known as Pionir), in front of The Red-Whites crowd. In the ABA League round 19, Partizan is hosting Budućnost (the only squad from the regional league that is playing in the EuroLeague) in the Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall (also known as Pionir). The Montenegrin team is now the only squad that is playing in Europe from the ABA League due to the fact that the three teams from Jadran (Adriatic coast), Crvena Zvezda, Cedevita and Partizan, lost their chances in the EuroCup after the Top 16. But in the best European club competition not all rounds are finished and after the 22nd round Budućnost has 6 victories and 16 defeats. The Squad from Podgorica (the capital city of Montenegro) won against Baskonia in the round 7 (99 – 84), CSKA in the round 9 (93 – 92), Barcelona in the round 11 (67 – 64), Darussafaka in the round 18 (75 – 74), Madrid in the round 19 (73

@ABA_League Supercup Final #ABALiga: First trophy for @kkcrvenazvezda

0

After beating Cedevita (68 – 79) in the semi-finals of the ABA League Supercup, Crvena Zvezda won the first trophy in the season by winning 75 – 89 against Budućnost. In the First semi-finals Budućnost was facing another Serbian team, Partizan, and after the overtime celebrated with a score of 87 – 90. But, the only EuroLegaue team in the regional league (Budućnost) didn’t have the strength to celebrate against the excellent Red and Whites (Crvena Zvezda). The First half decided the winner of the match because after 20 minutes Milan Tomić’s squad was leading by 25 (57 – 32). The Montenegrin team took control of the game in the second half, but the team didn’t have the strength to score the victory in Laktaši (Republika Srpska, part of Bosnia and Herzegovina). The Red and Whites played excellent during the finals and manage to get even for the lost in

@ABA_League Super Cup Semi-finals #ABALiga: @KKCedevita – @kkcrvenazvezda

0

In the second day of the ABA League Super Cup, Cedevita (a Croatian team) was better than Zadar (a team from Croatia) with a score of 85 – 77, while Crvena Zvezda (a squad from Serbia) won 86 – 60 against Olimpija (a Slovenian squad). So, after Partizan (a Sebian squad) – Budućnost (a Montenegrin team), the second semi-finalists are Cedevita (from Zagreb) and Red and Whites (from Belgrade, Serbia). Cedevita have successfully started their 2018-2019 season by beating Zadar in the 2018 ABA League Quarterfinals. Although they haven’t really presented their best performance, the Orange squad can be quite satisfied with the way they looked in their 1st official game. With no less than 8 new players in the team, the team from Zagreb showed some great teamwork, so their fans can definitely be excited about the new season. The best scorer in the winning team was James Bell

@ABA_League Super Cup Semi-finals: @PartizanBC against @KKBuducnostVOLI

In the first two quarter-final games of the ABA League Super Cup, Partizan (Serbian club) won against Mornar (Montenegrin club) 77 – 91, while Budućnost (club from Montenegro) was better than Igokea (Club from the Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina), with a score of 90 – 86. The second semi-finalists will be known after the games between Cedevita and Zadar (both teams from Croatia) and between Crvena Zvezda (team from Serbia) and Olimpija (Slovenian team). The Super Cup is taking place in Laktaši (a town in the Republika Srpska), where Igokea is hosting the eight best teams from the previous season of the regional league. Even though the team from Bosnia had home court advantage, that didn’t help in the game against the only EuroLeague squad from the ABA League (Budućnost). The Match between Partizan and Mornar opened the tournament, and in the first game the Black and Whites

BUDUĆNOST VOLI JE NOVI ŠAMPION!!! facebook.com/KkBuducnostVoli/

@ABA_League: @KKBUDUCNOST is the new champion («The Future» has come)

0

Budućnost Voli won 77 – 73 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the fourth and final game, and for the first time in the club history won the title of the ABA League. So, in the next season, if everything goes as planned, the team from Podgorica will play the EuroLeague. The great season in the regional league was finished in the best possible way for the Montenegrin team, and in total they won 5 and lost only 1 game against the Red and Whites. This time, like it was in the third game, in a dramatic finish players from Budućnost were more focused and at the end they deserved this victory and title. Before the last game, it was tense off the court because the president of Crvena Zvezda Nebojiša Čović announced that his team won’t participate in the fourth game due to, as he said, bad treatment by referees.
