@EuroCup: @PartizanBC in France

In the Round 9 of the EuroCup, Partizan will play an away game against ASVEL, from Villeurbanne, Lyon, France. These two teams played against each other in the 4^th round and the French squad won 78 – 89 in Belgrade.

For the Black and Whites (Crno-Beli), this is an excellent opportunity for the revenge, but not everything depends on them, ASVEL will also try to win. Also, in order to stay in the competition and to advance to the next round a win is the must for the Serbian squad.

Before the match against the team from France, Partizan head coach, Andrea Trinchieri, said that his squad will face an excellent opponent.

“ASVEL is a great squad. In Belgrade, they won with a smart play and now it is time for us to get even. We have to play one game and to know that there is only one result, and at the same time we need to play our basketball. To have only one score doesn’t need to be a problem, but a goal. This is the ‘win or go home’ situation”, said the Italian coach.

Amar Gegić, Black and Whites Point guard – Shooting guard, said that he and his teammates need to play smart basketball.

“We played against ASVEL already and we know that they prefer physical game. We need to try to win with a smart play. We are young squad and in every match we go for the victory. That is what we expect from this match, too”, said Gegić before the match in France.
