It was an interesting day for the group A in the Serbian “Super liga”. Crvena Zvezda MTS won 84 – 74 against Borac and became the leader of the Group A, while Mega Bemax finished the match with 125 points against Mladost that was stopped on 67. And Zlatibor was better than Tamiš. The final result of that game was 83 – 89.
After the Red and Whites lost in the last round, the team management decided to replace the coach, so Dušan Alimpijević left and till the end of the season the head coach will be Milenko Topić. His debut was successful because Zvezda won against Borac and now is at the first place in the group.
In the fourth quarter was decided the name of the winner even though the home team was leading most of the time during the game. Borac had an excellent start and in one moment the result was 2 – 10 for the guests but after a poor beginning of the game the Red and Whites managed to turn the game around and, at the end, also win.
The team from Čačak was an excellent opponent but in the last few minutes it looked like if the players from Borac didn’t have the strength enough to finish the game like they planned.
Ognjen Dobrić, from Crvena Zvezda, had an excellent shooting night. He finished the game with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Dejan Davidovac scored one point less, Taylor Rochestie had 14 and Alen Omić, 11 points.
In Borac, Nemanja Todorović, with 20 points, was the best, by far. His positions are 4/5 but he scored 3/5 for the three points. Miloš Dimić was, with 11 points, the only other player with double-digit score.
Besides the game of the round between the Red and Whites and Borac from Čačak, an excellent game was shown by players from Mega Bemax. Dejan Milojević’s squad won 67 – 125 against Mladost from Zemun.
Nikola Mišković scored 24 points for Mega. His teammates Luka Cerovina and Andrija Marjanović scored 17 points each one, while 12 was added by Miloš Koprivica. The hero of the game against Zvezda, Stefan Fundić, finished the game with 11 points and 11 rebounds (7 in offense).
On the other side, Vojin Svilar was the best scorer with 13 points, while Đorđe Pažin added 11 with 6 rebounds.
In the last game of the group A in the Serbian Super League, Zlatibor won against Tamiš with a score of 83 – 89 and the player of the game was Dragoslav Papić with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. His index rating was 33.
The other players in Zlatibor that scored 10 or more points were Bogdan Riznić (13), Svetozar Popović (12), Mladen Pantić (10) and Radomir Marojević (10).
In Tamiš, Ivan Smiljanić finished the game with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Aleksandar Ilkić and Dušan Knežević scored 15 each one and Bojan Stanojević added 10.
