Petrol Olimpija stopped Partizan NIS on their road to ABA League Playoffs by winning 89 – 87 in overtime in “Tivoli” Sports Hall in Ljubljana, Slovenia. With this game, home team scored three victories in a row after seven Losses, and team from Belgrade had 4 victories in five rounds before this game. But tonight, even though Partizan had victory in their hands, they didn’t use given chance and now definitely won’t be playing in Playoffs of regional league. First time in their history, Mornar from Bar is going to be one of the four teams that will try to win the ABA League trophy. In this season Partizan lost both matches against team from Ljubljana, and in Slovenija, Black and Whites last time won during the season 2012 – 2013. Player of the match was Devin Oliver who finished the game with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

In the great atmosphere in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Hall, Partizan Nis won against Mega Bemax (by 89 – 73) in the Round 19 of ABA League. Home team were leading through the whole game, and in the end they deserve to celebrate in front of their crowd. The guy of the game was Bandja Sy, who had the perfect game, he didn’t miss anything. Sy scored 17 points with 9 rebounds. Same amount of points scored Nigel Williams-Goss, while two players finished the game with 12 points each: Vanja Marinković and Đorđe Gagić. The two youngest teams in league, Partizan NIS and Mega Bemax, will be playing today, Sunday, in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Hall, in the Round 19 of ABA League. The game is scheduled to 7 p.m. In the first game between these two Serbian teams in Sremska Mitrovica Partizan celebrated with a score 89 – 102. Coach of Partizan Nenad Čanak, before this match, said that the most valuable weapon of the team from Sremska Mitrovica is their coach Dejan Milojević, who played for Black and Whites during his basketball career. “We play against Mega, the team that has an excellent coach Dejan Milojević, who always have talented players in his roster. Head coach of Serbian national team Aleksandar Đorđević announced preliminary squad for the second window of World Cup Qualifications. In February, Serbian men senior basketball team will play two games of the second window in the qualifications for World Cup that will take place in China in 2019. Great win for Black and Whites in another @ABA_League classic

Partizan NIS won against Cibona 80 – 69 in Round 17 of ABA League in a full “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall. Both teams played tough game, and guest from Croatia were an equal opponent during 30 minutes of the game, but in the last quarter Partizan managed to brake Cibona’s offense and win the game. Player of the game was definitely Novica Veličković. Partizan’s captain had 23 points, 12 rebounds 3 assists and 1 steal for total index value of 36. Partizan NIS beat Igokea by 67 – 74 on the road, while they neighbours Crvena Zvezda Mts won on home court with a score of 82 – 66 against Cedevita from Zagreb.
