Partizan will host Trento in the Round 6 of the EuroCup in the “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall and this will be Andrea Trinchieri European debut as the Black and White head coach.

Before this round, the team from Belgrade had only 1 win in the European competition, same as the Italian and after this match one team will stay with one victory.

These teams already played against each other in the first round when Trento was better than Partizan with a score of 82 – 73. But now the things are changed. The Serbian team has a home court advantage, a new coach and they completed the roster with Stefan Janković (PF – C) and the American player Anthony Brown (SG – SF), who is still adjusting to the new environment.

Partizan head coach said that his team, in the game against Trento, has an opportunity to play much better than against Mega (their last game in the ABA League, when Partizan won 74 – 81, see «@ABA_League: Shock therapy worked, great debut of Trinchieri (@PartizanBC)«).

This game is a big opportunity for us to be better, for the players to make some progress and to be a team. Also, that is a chance to get confidence. It will be a difficult match, we have to be ready and extremely focused” said Trinchieri before the game.

Power forward Stefan Janković said that his team needs to show how determined they are.

In the game against Trento we have to show our determination for each day to be better. Both teams have the same score, and now is our chance to be at the better position than our rival”, said Janković.
