Three Spanish teams played on December 28th and all three won: Madrid against Fenerbahce with a score of 77 – 79, Malaga 78 – 89 against Maccabi and Valencia 67 – 63 against Panathinaikos from Athens.

First Madrid beaten Turkish team in Istanbul at Ulker Sports and Event Hall, with an extraordinary game for young Luka Dončić, who finished the match with 20 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Slovenian player help his team to score fourth consecutive victory, and now Madrid have a score of 9 – 6. Fenerbahce also have 9 victories and 6 losses.

Even though his team loss, this was a memorable night for Kostas Sloukas, who made his 500th assist in EuroLeague, but still Dončić was number one star on the court in Istanbul.

Besides Slovenian youngster, three more players had double digits points in Madrid: Felipe Reyes and Trey Thompkins scored 13 points each one of them two and Jaycee Carroll finished the game with 11 points.

In Fenerbahce, Brad Wanamaker scored 20 points, Luigi Datome 12, James Nunnally 11 and Jason Thompson added 10.

In Israel, Serbian player Nemanja Nedović lead his Malaga with 20 points in an important victory against host Maccabi, and now Spanish team has a score of 7 – 8, while team from Tel Aviv has 8 – 7.

This was another interesting game of multiple lead changes, which concluded with the visitors pulling away in the final stage.

Besides Nedović, key role in this victory had big man Giorgi Shermadini with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Jeff Brooks added 18 points and 7 boards, and Ray McCallum netted 15.

Norris Cole was leading scorer in Maccabi with 16 points, Art Parakhouski scored 15 and Pierre Jackson added 14.

And in the third game where one of the Spanish teams participated, Valencia defended home court mostly thanks to 21 points of Erick Green, who also had 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 rebounds. With this victory Valencia stopped their losing streak (they lost 10 games in a row), and now the team has 4 victories and 11 losses in EuroLeague.

On the other side, besides the loss in Round 15, Panathinaikos is in better position than Valencia. Greens have 10 victories and 5 losses till now in this EuroLeague regular season.

Matt Lojeski was the best with 17 points in Panathinaikos, while Marcus Denmon scored 10. These were the only two players with double digits points for Athene’s Greens.

In Valencia, besides Green, two more players had double digits score. Tibor Pleiss finished the match with 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Montenegrin Bojan Dubljević had 11 points and 4 rebounds.
