On the first night of the Round 12, Olympiacos won 88 – 81 against Efes; CSKA, 88 – 74 against Khimki; Fenerbahce, 92 – 85 against Milan; Baskonia, 79 – 81 against Maccabi; and, in the ACB Eternal Derby, Madrid won 92 – 65 against Barcelona. The night belonged to the home teams. In the five matches that were played, four hosts celebrated, only Baskonia won as an away squad, in Tel Aviv. In an interesting match in Istanbul between Fenerbahçe and CSKA, the team from Moscow won thanks to Nando de Colo’s buzzer-beater two points shot for 79 – 81. In the other @EuroLeague match, Panathinaikos won in Málaga with a score of 79 – 90. The team from Istanbul played a matched game and in the third quarter made a difference but CSKA got back in the game in the fourth quarter and even won in the last seconds of the match. It was an amazing comeback for the best team in the league with 21 victories and 5 losses. On the other hand, Fenerbahçe is currently on the third place with the same number of victories (18) and losses (8) as the second, Olympiacos. These three teams are qualified for the @EuroLeague Playoffs, so there are only 5 spots remaining and four rounds till the end of the Regular Season

Three Spanish teams played on December 28th and all three won: Madrid against Fenerbahce with a score of 77 – 79, Malaga 78 – 89 against Maccabi and Valencia 67 – 63 against Panathinaikos from Athens. First Madrid beaten Turkish team in Istanbul at Ulker Sports and Event Hall, with an extraordinary game for young Luka Dončić, who finished the match with 20 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Slovenian player help his team to score fourth consecutive victory, and now Madrid have a score of 9 – 6. Fenerbahce also have 9 victories and 6 losses. Even though his team loss, this was a memorable night for Kostas Sloukas, who made his 500th assist in EuroLeague, but still Dončić was number one star on the court in Istanbul. Besides Slovenian youngster, three more players had double digits points in Madrid: Felipe Reyes and Trey Thompkins scored 13 points each
