From your point of view, what are the Main Differences between CSKA arriving #FinalFour 2013 in #LondON and CSKA arriving #FinalFour 2014 in Milano?

((13) Sonny Weems We just have different teams. Not just because of changes in the roster but in means of overall composition. We have less weak points and we have more experience behind us. I think we know better what to expect and how to prepare.

(VB:) (13) Sonny Weems Averaged 12.20 (Performance Index Rating, PIR, per Game) and 15.99 (PIR per 40 Minutes) in this Season PlayOffs, Improving your Last Season PlayOffs PIR per Game (8.3),does this mean that (13) Sonny Weems has grown, as a Player, since Last Season? Does it mean that you are a More Complete Player today than a year before?

(SW) Hopefully I grow every day. I learn something from each game and pratice. Also I know my team better right now, we have more mutual trust inside the team and that helps us all.

(VB) You use to play, in CSKA, both Shooting Guard (when you play with (9) Aaron Jackson, (31) Viktor Khryapa, (20) Andrey Vorontsevich and (24) Sasha Kaun, for example, as in the Last PlayOff Game Starting Five) and Small Forward Positions (when you play with (4) Milos Teodosic, (7) Vitaly Fridzon, (31) Khryapa and (12) Nenad Krstic, for example, as in the First Top 16 Game Starting Five). Knowing that you, as a Professional Player, will play the Position your Coach tells you to play, which one do you feel more comfortable in?

(SW) Definitely I do what my coach asks me to do. But actually in modern basketball there are no big difference in playing SF or SG, the wings. Maybe it gives us better options on defense when I have to guard smaller players and Victor can use his unbelievable defensive qualities to help everyone around.

(VB) CSKA has to play First Semi-Final against Maccabi. Taking into consideration that CSKA has Defeated Maccabi in both games you have played this Season and only has Defeated Madrid and BarCelOna one time each one of them 2,do you consider the game you have to play against Maccabi (the First Semi-Final) as the «easier» game you’ll play in Milano (knowing that there are no easy games in a Final Four)?

(SW) No. We all know that in the Final Four you can forget all previous results. It will be just one game and another game, and the one who is ready for every single night will prevail.

(VB) vuestrobasket.com voted for you as one of the 5 Players in the All-Euroleague First Team. Finally, you have been honored being one of this 5 Players. What are your feelings about this honor? What does it mean for you? Do you consider yourself as one of the 5 Top Stars of the EuroLeague 2013-2014?

(SW) Thank you very much, I appreciate that. It is always great to have any kind of recognition but the title is the only thing I am truly worried about. Besides with  accolade you have you should always credit your teammates. You cannot reach the hights without support.

(VB) Knowing that the all 4 Players in the All-Euroleague First Team ((13) Sergio Rodríguez, (23) Keith Langford, (5) Rudy Fernández and (44) Ante Tomic) are, all of them 4, Great Players, which one is your favourite to be honored as the Season MVP?

(SW) I think Fernandez or Tomic will get the trophy.

(VB) You arrive in Europe in Kaunas from Toronto (Raptors), where you played 2 Seasons with José Manuel Calderón, what are the Main Differences that you find between NBA and EuroLeague, between Toronto Raptors and CSKA?

(SW) I think you know the answers. NBA has the best basketball in the world with the best players. The game is different there in many aspects, players are more athletic and individual talent is always on display. But I like European basketball as well. It is more about team action and I think I adjusted already. As for CSKA – our club is a top level organization in the world and I truly enjoy playing here.

(VB) The Last question is a Must in vuestrobasket.com, and it is not a question itself, it is more as an Open window, an opportunity to talk about something that you would have liked us to ask you and we haven’t asked you, even something you would like to have been asked for in any Interview and no one asked you. Sonny Weems, you yourself…

(SW) I am a dedicated father who loves his daughter more than anything in the world. As for basketball all I want for know is to lift Euroleague trophy. And I know we are capable to do it.
