Budućnost Voli won 77 – 73 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the fourth and final game, and for the first time in the club history won the title of the ABA League. So, in the next season, if everything goes as planned, the team from Podgorica will play the EuroLeague. The great season in the regional league was finished in the best possible way for the Montenegrin team, and in total they won 5 and lost only 1 game against the Red and Whites. This time, like it was in the third game, in a dramatic finish players from Budućnost were more focused and at the end they deserved this victory and title. Before the last game, it was tense off the court because the president of Crvena Zvezda Nebojiša Čović announced that his team won’t participate in the fourth game due to, as he said, bad treatment by referees.

Budućnost Voli won 78 – 77 against Crvena Zvezda Mts in the third game of the Final Playoff, but this time in the Sports Hall “Morača” in Podgorica. The team from Montenegro is now one step away from winning the trophy in the ABA League. In a dramatic ending the Red and Whites had two shots for the victory, but both James Feldeine and Mathias Lessort missed their opportunities to be the players of the match. First, Feldeine had a chance with an unguarded three point shot, and the French center failed to make a correction after he got the rebound in the last second and went for a put-back. While they didn’t use their chances in this round, the real man of the match was Nemanja Gordić, who scored 17 points with 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and his free point shot set the final score in Podgorica.

In the second game of the ABA League Final Playoff, Crvena Zvezda Mts won against Budućnost Voli with a score of 69 – 59 and secure the game 4 in this Final Playoff. The teams from Serbia and Montenegro will move from Belgrade to Podgorica where they will continue fighting for the trophy and the spot in the next season EuroLeague. After Budućnost VOLI made a break in the first game, Zvezda have managed to bounce back in the second Game after one more dramatic finish and now the two teams start the Final Playoff all over again, as if nothing happened, only this time the crowd will be on Budućnost’s side. Budućnost Voli won 76 – 80 in the first game of the ABA League Final Playoff against Crvena Zvezda on the road in Belgrade and took the lead 0 – 1 in this Final Playoff. Partizan NIS is hosting Budućnost Voli in the Round 21 of ABA League after two weeks break due to domestic cups and national team games. Black and Whites won “Radivoje Korać” Cup by beating Crvena Zvezda in the final, while Budućnost won against Mornar in the final of the Montenegrin Cup. Now, the teams are back in ABA League and in the game against Nenad Čanak’s and the squad of Aleksandar Džikić, and both teams are ready for a new challenge: Partizan to stay at the fifth place and team from Podgorica to stay the first in the league before the Playoffs. Even though Black and Whites lost their chance to book a ticket for the Playoffs of the regional league, the team from Belgrade is always motivated in games against powerhouses of the league.
