In the ABA League round 18, Partizan won 59 – 83 (+24) against Cibona in the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall (Košarkaški centar Dražen Petrović or Dvorana Dražen Petrović), in Zagreb. The Black and Whites (Crno-Beli) won 87 – 72 against Turk Telekom in the last round (10th) of the regular season in the EuroCup and advanced to the Top 16. The “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall was full till the last seat even though the match was played on Saints Nickolas Day, one of the biggest “slava” (Family Saint’s Day) in Serbia. The head coach of the Serbian national team, Aleksandar Đorđević, announced the preliminary squad for the fourth qualification window for the World Cup 2019 in China and 24 names are on the list. The Serbian men team will play against Greece (September 13th) and Estonia (September 16th) in this window. The match against Greece will be played in Iraklion (Crete) and the one against Estonia, in Belgrade.
