Madrid and Fenerbahce held the press conference for the F4 EuroLeague final game at the Press Conference room in the Štark Arena in Belgrade. Head coaches of both teams, Željko Obradović and Pablo Laso, and Fenerbahce player Kostas Sloukas and Madrid player Rudy Fernández talked to the media about the final and the atmosphere in the Serbian capital. Fenerbahce will defend the trophy In the opening game of the EuroLeague Final 4, Fenerbahce won 76 – 67 against Žalgiris and made it to the final where the Turkish team will defend the title from the last year. It wasn’t an easy game for the defending champions but they made it to secure another final. The team from Lithuania can be satisfied with the game they showed on the court and tomorow Žalgiris will able to try to win the game for the third spot in the EuroLeague. Ali Muhammed was the best scorer in Fenerbahce with 19 points. The Italian player Luigi Datome added 16 and Kostas Sloukas finished the game with 14 points. The capital of Serbia is hosting the EuroLeague Final 4 Tournament and the best clubs in Europe are now in Belgrade. The opening press conference was held on the courts within the walls of Kalemegdan Fortress where the representatives from the four European clubs (CSKA, Fenerbahce, Madrid and Žalgiris) were talking about the last four games in the championship to come. While the four EuroLeague Final Four 2018 teams (CSKA, Madrid, Žalgiris and Fenerbahce) are preparing for the Final 4 in Belgrade, the fans were voting for their favourite players in the season 2017-2018. It was and still is an interesting season, so there were a lot of great moments in the league. An interesting fact is that a lot of players had their best season yet, and for some of them, they are able to show more in Belgrade. Every the fan who is following the EuroLeague has one or more favourite players no matter if they will be the best or not. Choosing the favourite ones is a subjective opinion not just connected with basketball knowledge, but with what the person likes to see during the game. Someone is mesmerized with dunks, others with buzzer beater shots and how the players are effecting the game or their team play.
