In front of 700 people in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Sports Hall, French team Limoges won 98 – 101 against Partizan NIS in the 9th round of the EuroCup. This round was dedicated to One Team and, in Serbia, Partizan introduced children from Zvečanska (orphanage in Belgrade) and Special Olympics team. Black and whites were playing in almost empty hall due to Saint Nicholas Day. It is a custom in Serbia that half citizens are celebrating this Saint and half are at someone else’s celebration. But that didn’t stop Nenad Čanak’s team to play a good game against French team. In the fifth round of ABA League, Partizan won 117 – 104 against Igokea from Aleksandrovac in an amazing game in “Aleksandar Nikolic” Hall that celebrated with their home crowd after the game. Both teams played great in offense and till the end it was an interesting game full of amazing plays, but in the end home team took the victory in their hands. The best scorer was Nigel Williams-Goss with 30 points with 8 assists while Patrick Miller added 23 points and 11 assists. Yesterday night Red Star won 90 – 82 against Barcelona in the second round of EuroLeague as a home team in “Aleksandar Nikolić” Hall in Belgrade, Serbia. Red and whites were able to celebrate first victory in new season with their fans. Both teams, Barcelona and Red Star have 1 – 1 in EuroLeague. In the first round team from Spain won against Panathinaikos 98 – 71, and Serbian team lost against Zalgiris with a score of 78 – 76.
